World’s demand for sustainable energy is rising. Many studies have found that dealing with synthesizing of electrodes, for supercapacitors as renewable energy storage devices, from different chemical compounds. Although there are large reserves of geological raw materials as sources of these compounds in Egypt, they are not used in this industry. Extracted minerals separated from different Egyptian raw materials, especially after doping these minerals with elements of high electrical conductivity, gave an excellent electrical performance (measured by the specific electrical capacitance, electrochemical conductivity, stability rates and time of charge and discharge) as electrode materials for supercapacitors. The obtained results (abundance of raw materials, low-cost concentration methods, and efficient electrochemical properties) refer to the potentiality of securing Egyptian geological raw materials (adding value) for the manufacture of supercapacitors for renewable and environmentally friendly energy for sustainable development (World Vision 2030).
